Soothing images of waning light

Yesterday evening, I spent some quiet time sitting by the lake. Every now and then I'd snap off another picture as I watched the day turn into night.

Still water reflections of the pink-and-blue sky

The stalks and leaves of dollar weed and duck potato plants mirrored in the calm water

I never tire of looking across the lake at the Rorschach-like image of slash pine reflections
